Love Knot Shawl

I made this "love knot shawl" for my daughters Birthday........I'm about ready to mail it out to her but wanted a picture to share with my blogger readers. This is a pretty easy pattern so if you're interested in making one and need a pattern, let me know.

Recycled Bed Sheet

I wanted to make another one of my famous crocheted rugs. I found a bed sheet I no longer had a use for, so I recycled the sheet into a rug.

First of all this is what you have to do........yes you cut it all up into 1 inch wide strips and tie them together (a technique I'll share with you one of these days). There are lots of hours invested but the final result is a very durable and long lasting rug!

It always gives me great joy to give a handmade gift.

I really enjoy crocheting and it seems I always think of someone before I'm finished with my project that I could give it to for a gift. I'm just posting these totes to show you some of my creativity.

Whenever I need help with learning a crochet or knitting stitch I go to Annie's Attic for "stitching help", they have "how to" illustrations and QuickTime movies to guide you through it.
